Sydney has a range of both indoor and outdoor go karting tracks, sometimes even on split levels. But where do you go and how much will you pay? The following list provides details on the current venues around the city and what you will pay for a ride at each one.
Butterfly Farm: Indy 800 Farm Track Offering single and double kart hire, Butterfly Farm: Indy 800 Farm Track charges $30.00 for a ten minute ride. Its 800m track is longer than most other options.
Eastern Creek International Karting Raceway
There is a huge variation in the prices at Eastern Creek International Karting Raceway, and what you pay depends on how old you are and what type of kart you want. Adults driving the most basic kind of kart will pay $35.00 for fifteen minutes.
Location: Eastern Creek
Fastlane Karting One ride on the 520 metre outdoor track at Fastlane Karting costs $20.00, regardless of age. There are karts built just for kids and also ones for anyone over twelve (though height is the deciding factor in driving them in the end).
At Kartatak Raceway prices vary between locations, but all tracks are indoors. At Arncliffe everyone pays $28.00 while at Villawood Seniors pay $28.00 but Juniors pay $22.00. At the third venue, Tuggerah, everyone pays $22.00. Rides are for 10 minutes and a $9.00 membership fee applies on top of these prices.
Location: Arncliffe, Villawood and Tuggerah
Indykarts Indykarts offers a split level indoor track where you get to drive motorcycle-powered geared karts. A ten minute experience on the track costs $36.00.
Spitfire Paintball & Go Karts Part of the attraction on Spitfire Paintball & Go Karts is, of course, the go karting. A ride on the indoor track here, which is only a few years old, costs $27.00 for ten minutes.
Location: Concord West
Ultimate Karting Sydney At Ultimate Karting Sydney adults pay $28.00 for ten minutes and kids pay $20.00. The track is quite wide and 450m long.
Location: Smeaton Grange
*The prices in this article indicate what you will be charged in March 2015. However, prices can, and probably will, increase. If a new venue becomes the cheapest or you notice a great deal, let everyone know by leaving a comment.

The adult carts at smeaton grange are the best I have found in sydney, other places may be cheaper but their karts and track is great fun , saying that I have not been to every track but recommended this place
I tried Fast Lane Karting, first-time doing karting and I am definitely be doing it again! I have not tried other race tracks, I'm currently contented with fast lane karting. They got the most affordable package in Sydney. Good thing I read about this in your blog Vanessa.
Fastlane Karting is Longer, Faster and better value than any indoor track in Sydney. You will find newer tracks are trying the image thing and I have tried every track in Sydney many times. Fastlane is the best by far. And they have the newest fleet of karts in Sydney too.
When it comes to GO Karting do yourselves a favour guys and go check out Luddenham Raceway - it's Sydney's Newest Outdoor Karting Centre and pretty soon they will have a new Paintball Centre there too!!!
Ultimate Karting Sydney holds a new standard in the go kart industry in Sydney.
These guys are the real deal, extremely professional, super clean, ultra fast karts and an all weather massive indoor track.
Try the others but be sure to try the best.
