Cheap airfares that won't break your budget
Looking for that perfect international getaway at a fraction of the cost? With the addition of a new budget airline in Singapore and its routes hitting the shores of Australia, travellers will be able to secure some airfares that won't break the tightest of budgets.
Flyscoot.com have recently launched here in Australia with routes heading to Singapore from Sydney and the Gold Coast. Scoot are currently offering flights for as little as $189 (Gold Coast – Singapore). That means that you could potentially fly return for under $400!
For those of you that don't feel 100% about booking and flying with a new airline - Scoot is actually a subsidiary company of Singapore Airlines. Singapore Airlines have been around for years and they are held in high regard. The expectation is that Scoot will be much the same.
Airasia is another brand that flies from the Gold Coast. I have had the pleasure of flying with them to Kuala Lumpur not so long ago and was very surprised and happy with my journey. Onwards from KL, you have the option of flying to many places within Asia with this organisation (including London).
The arrival of budget international airline carriers in Australia is extremely exciting. Budget travel is exceptionally great for likeminded people. If you are willing to accept that food, entertainment and baggage charges are usually on top of the fare price, you will have a very pleasant flight and an exceptionally cheap holiday.
