Sydney offers so many beautiful sights and places to visit that won't break your budget. From festivals and pristine coastlines to iconic landmarks and cultural attractions, there is an abundance of cost-effective and enjoyable things to do in Sydney.

Vivid Sydney
Vivid light festival is one of the most popular and attended events in Sydney and is absolutely free. It began back in 2009 as a smart light festival for energy efficiency. Now Vivid Sydney is an annual light and music display spanning across Darling Harbour, Circular Quay and other parts of the CBD such as Central Park and the finance districts of Martin Place. It is a winter event held annually for 3 weeks during May and June, and currently features lighting sculptures, contemporary music and amazing illuminations across the Sydney Opera House sails.

Darling Harbour
Darling Harbour is home to some of the best restaurants, bars and iconic attractions, with something for every age to enjoy. Kids can enjoy themselves in the playground at Darling Quarter which offers water games, climbing ropes, swings and slides where they will have hours of fun. Once the sun has set, you can head on over to Criniti's or Hurricanes Bar & Grill to enjoy a waterside dinner.

Bondi To Coogee Walk
The Bondi To Coogee walk runs along one of the most spectacular coastlines you have ever seen. Starting at Bondi Icebergs, simple enjoy a walk or jog and admire the beauty of the sand and seas. The walk is suitable for all ages and is even pet-friendly! It will take between 1-2 hours at a leisurely pace. In late Spring, head down to check out Sculptures By The Sea near Bondi - a collection of unique sculptures along the coastline you can enjoy along your entire journey. Your best bet for getting there is to catch public transport as parking is limited. You can take the train to Bondi Junction and hop on one of the many buses down to Bondi Beach.

Sydney Harbour Bridge
One of the top places to visit in Sydney is the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge. To enjoy the majestic views for free you can walk the full span of the bridge on the ground which will take around an hour. Or for those who wish to fully immerse themselves in the 360 panoramic views of the city and harbour, BridgeClimb Sydney offers a range of experiences that will take you to the top for an unparalleled view of Sydney. There are various climbs to choose from which range from 1.5 to 3.5 hours to complete.
