1: Have a game night
Dust off those board games in the cupboard and settle in for a night with a good hot chocolate or a couple of beers.

2: Stargaze
Get the picnic blanket out and go out on a nice summer night to look at the wonders of the sky. You could even pick up a tub of ice-cream from the supermarket on the way.

3: Sunday Drive
Everyone loves a road trip so hop in the car and drive to a nearby town for lunch in a nice cafe (or pack your own for an even cheaper option). Sometimes it's good just to leave your town for a little bit.

[ADVERT]4: Go for a hike
Even if you're not a huge hiking buff there's always hikes out there for every level (even a nice walk around the park or lake is good enough).

5: Cook a nice meal at home together
Want a fancy meal? Why not cook it at home? You get to choose exactly what you want and cooking together can be great fun. Set the table with a couple of candles and you are set for a romantic night in.

6: Visit a farmers market together
Go to a nearby farmers market and have a walk around. The best thing is a lot of the food stalls offer taste tests so you can try before you buy.

7: Day by the pool
Public pools usually have a very cheap entry fee. A very easy way to cool of on a hot summers day with your other half.

8: Movie night
Visit your local video store and each pick out a weekly movie to hire. Settle in with some popcorn and you are good for the whole night.

9: Wineries tour
Visit local wineries in your area. You will usually get free wine tastings and some beautiful scenery while your at it. You could even pick up a bottle for that nice dinner at home you are going to cook.

10: Op shopping/thrift store
The amount of goodies, or just plain weird, things you can find in a thrift store will entertain you for a while. Or you could make a game out of it. Each take $10 and try to find the best outfit to model at the pub later of for an afternoon beer.
