You might ask if there really is ever such a thing as a bad pizza, because for the most part, it's pretty hard to get pizza wrong. But when it's done right, and I mean absolutely bang on right, it's memorable.



Open most days from 5-10pm for speedy home delivery, you can also pop in on Thursdays and Fridays and take advantage of some pretty cheap as chips lunch specials. And...if you're the type of person who believe pizza tastes better after midnight, they're open until the wee hours of the morning on weekends too.



They pride themselves in creating gourmet pizzas with a huge range of topping you may not find anywhere else and to top it off they use fresh and local ingredients so it doesn't taste like the manufactured plastic pizzas that come from big chain shops.

While they were busy creating deliciously fresh pizzas, they also came up with the genius idea to deliver it on a box that is completely recyclable (as it's a common mistake many people make thinking most pizza boxes can be recycled) and here's the very cool kicker....the boxes have lids that tear off to create four little plates to eat your pizza from (no washing up) as well as have enough left over to make a container to save the leftovers. That is, assuming you have leftovers.



We tried out two of their roughly twenty different types to choose from. One being a little bit more on the typical side and one a bit different from the traditional pizza you might expect.

First up was the more on the traditional side Hot Yank, known as Vespa's Americana with Calabrese salami, cherry tomatoes, fior di latte, tomato passata, finished with fresh basil and a sprinkling of goats cheese. Not too spicy, not at all greasy as some salami pizzas can be and a whole lot of delicious.



Second on our list was the Plant Powered pizza. Yep, they all have quirky names too. This one is Vespa's Vego pizza with broccoli, artichoke, goats fetta, fior di latte, on a basil pesto base.



While most places have a sizable variety of pizza delivery options to choose from, Chatty Vespa certainly offers a quality pie, and the fresh ingredients are certainly noticeable.

Now here's the fun part: Once a month they randomly select an online customer to win a Pizza Party. The winner gets 10 pizzas (yep 10.) to throw a party at their place for their mates the next month, delivered by a speedy little Vespa.

The only thanks they need is you taking a few photos of your friends enjoying these delicious things so they can show their social media followers just how very happy a good old fashion pizza party can make a group of people.
