The North Shore's biggest street party returns with new features and events that include music, cooking, video gaming and children's activities. As part of the Emerge Festival, the colourful parade will open the fair and market stalls will continue to highlight the Chatswood CBD.



Hundreds of members from various community groups will dance and sing their way along the parade route in striking costumes to the beat of drums and music. Heading down Anderson Street and Victoria Avenue past The Concourse, the parade finishes near Chatswood Chase, before a huge day of food and fun kick in.

Various stages and areas include:-

Spring Vibes – the ultimate chill-out zone at Chatswood Interchange with DJ's spinning tunes at the station level

Cherry Blossom Garden – with its blooming pink blossoms and glamorous peacock chairs in Chatswood Chase, you'll be celebrating spring in style and most likely capturing some Instagram-worthy shots

Esports Stage –the centre of video gaming heaven with the set up of Nintendo classics, a motorsport tournament, music, dancers and a Cosplay competition (for which you need to register online )



Willoughby's Got Talent – with the best concert and school bands from the North Shore, including Sydney Jazz Collective, performing in Spring Street

Asian Inspirations Stage – where you can cook up a storm with demonstrations from top chefs in Chatswood Mall taking you on a sensory journey through Japan, Thailand, Korea and China



Magical Lane – a fantasy world for the littlies to wander down in Anderson Street with unicorn rides, farm animals, face painting and a jumping castle

Kidzone Stage – where tweens can enjoy the circus, magic, gymnastics, dance, Junkyard Beats Jam Space, hip-hop shows, cheerleading and Kung Fu workshops at The Concourse



Add to this over 100 market stalls selling arts and crafts as well as gourmet world foods and you've got a day the whole family can enjoy.

Organised by Willoughby City Council, the street fair will take place from 10am-4pm on 1 September and aims to showcase the area as a diverse and creatively dynamic place.
