I am always looking out for new experiences, wherever I may find myself.

With both Westfield Chatswood and Chatswood Chase within a short distance of each other (along with Lemon Grove Arcade and the Mandarin Centre), Chatswood is a go-to place for shoppers. But these centres aren't the only reason people head here. Every Thursday and Friday, the Chatswood Mall Market takes place along Victoria Avenue from 11am to 9pm.
Over these two days, stalls stretch from the steps of Chatswood Station all the way down to Anderson Street. Among the two rows you can buy clothing, art, jewelery, bonsais, plants, candy fruit liquorice, cupcakes and more. A particular strength of the market is the variety of food on offer, which makes it a good place to get lunch if you work nearby.
Buskers have a strong presence in Chatswood and you will often be able to enjoy some music as you shop, especially if you visit in the evening. The market also holds its own live performances on Thursdays, from 6pm to 8pm, which has seen it nicknamed the Melody Market. Visit the market's Facebook page to see who's playing.
The Chatswood Mall Market is not the only market in the suburb you may want to take a look at. On Saturdays, an Organic Food and Farmers Market takes place at Chatswood Public School, from 9am to 2pm, selling fresh fruit, vegetables, Asian food, deli and bakery goods, meat and more. A Christmas Market is also held in December.
Hi just a random question, do you happen to know the brand name of the Banana Bread captured on the first picture? (the ones with colored label on it). I have been looking for them everywhere since they do not sell it at the Chatswood Night Market anymore.
