Willoughby City Council's popular Fair Trade Christmas Markets are back this December!
For one day only - Saturday 7 December - you have the unique opportunity to discover a wonderful range of ethically sourced, handcrafted gift ideas with an inspirational story.
Held in the convenient location of Chatswood Mall from 10am to 4pm, you can peruse a handpicked selection of fashion, accessories, toys, homewares, jewellery, beauty products and more! There is sure to be something for everyone on your Christmas list (and something special for yourself)!
Give twice this Christmas by kicking off a chain reaction of goodwill - each purchase at Fair Trade Christmas Markets makes a real difference and supports opportunities for economically disadvantaged artisans, farmers and producers.
Quality goods from fair trade businesses include Colombian bags and tagua jewellery from Koguis, Panama hats and hammocks from the Toucan Shop, embroidered cushion covers from Global Conduct, summer fashion from Stitch'd, Sri Lankan toys from Apsara, beautiful woven baskets from Bozy, silver jewellery from Eden Ministries, block printed quilts from Kalai and unique recycled beaded jewellery from Afribeads.
This free event is part of Council's Live Well in Willoughby series of events, talks and workshops providing fun ways to rethink your lifestyle to create a more sustainable future.
Entry is FREE and all are welcome to come along and meet the friendly stallholders. Plan your visit today by heading to www.willoughby.nsw.gov.au. We hope to see you there!
