Chatswood Chase Autumn/Winter 2017 Runway Reveal

The wild weather in Sydney couldn't keep the fashion obsessed away from the Chatswood Chase Autumn/Winter 2017 VIP Runway Reveal on Thursday 16th March.

The VIP cocktail party kicked off with wine sponsored by Joiy . Mini bottles of delicate aromatic prosecco style sparkling enhanced with a wedge of lime. This pre-runway refreshment was well liked by the thirsty fashion devotees.

Delicious canapes came trailing through the crowd, devoured by the lucky if you were in the waiter's path. Delicate pastry tarts, chicken tea sandwiches, ham sliders, frittata bites, finished with hand-made chocolates.

Then it was down to the ground level to take our seats. The night wasn't all about fashion, guests were thrilled by the powerful soprano voice of Marina Prior who took to the floor in a sparkling white gown.

The much-anticipated reveal began with VIP guests treated to an intoxicating mix of designs for both women and men.

Models bounced out onto the stage in stunning Carla Zampati monochrome creations. Faux fur glamour, silk jumpsuits and larger than life shades from OPSM, would have made fashion icon Jackie Kennedy proud.

White flares also made an inspiring comeback paired with knit tops and 80's style floppy hats with more vintage Jackie style shades.

Playful Sergeant Pepper styled military suiting with ankle boots looked fun for the daring. Gorgeous handbags by Oroton .

Maja and Karen Millen made a statement in thick black and white bands and skirts are above the knee and also elegantly touching below the knee.

Basler danced onto the runway in classic black, red and white. A slit sleeve blazer, featuring a classic silky scarf and a celebrity style Houndstooth overcoat with flat pumps looked warm and cosy.

Brooks Brothers styled it up with quilted zip jackets and for the ladies a shorter style overcoat.

Retailers Calibre and Trenery graced the runway in smart casual wear.

Sandro Paris now has the one and only store in Australia at Chatswood Chase. This season brings playful mid calf suits and flirty flounced minis in pastel pink and powder blue wool cashmere.

Gerry Weber teamed casual pastel pink and taupe garments made for comfort.

Alannah Hill's recognisable feminine elegance pranced down the runway with dresses layered in romantic floral gauze overlay. Welcoming bursts of colour in ruby red and mauve were the perfect colour choice for the faux fur crop jacket and shoulder wrap.

Leonia Edmiston used the colours of autumn leaves in her feminine frocks.

David Jones

Stunning gowns for those special occasions, every woman should own at least one special evening dress.

Aqua Selection rocked the runway in playful pants, fawn leather, faux fur collars and shades of grey.

Beautiful cashmere, clothes, bags and shoes.

Gorman shone with classic sophistication in sparkly lurex. I wasn't a huge fan of teaming the look with the Aztec print jackets.

One more song was belted out by the Queen of the musical theatre, Marina Prior, looking glamorous in a red sequin tulle gown.

A favourite of many ladies is fashion by Camilla . Her floaty, flimsy animal prints never disappoint.

Max and Co was next with Models dazzling the runway in long silk chiffon floral dresses. I loved the inky blue silk floral print dress.

Rodeo Show

Lace is popular again this year and it doesn't stop in the warmer months. Intricate mesh like to delicate textures that bring out the feminine allure in all of us.

Cue was brazen with indigo blue velour, lace, lipstick red faux fur and rockstar glitter boots. Only a few could wear the sleek black Charlies Angels velour jumpsuit.

All good things must come to end. The Chatswood Chase Autumn Winter Collection 2017 has proven that Autumn Winter fashion doesn't need to be boring, dull in colour or style.

Don't miss the next VIP runaway event. Buy a $25 entry ticket and you will receive not only VIP drinks and canapes but an exclusive goodie bag full of gifts, sample and vouchers worth over $200.
