This business has now closed and items can be purchased from their other store "Dollars and Sense" in same complex
Just want that something different this is the place to shop
'Charmed', a word that gives the impression of something captivating, magical, lucky and pleasing is just the feeling you will experience when you walk into the shop "Charmed Homewares" at Alexandra Hills Shopping Centre. Charmed Homewares opened just before Christmas in 2014 and is owned by Kieran who also owns Dollars & Sense in the Centre. Dollars & Sense had added a few unique items to their stock, which they found sold out as soon as they were put on the shelves so the idea to open another store selling a range of diverse and quality items for the home came to fruition.
'Charmed Homewares' the newest store in the Alexandra Hills Shopping Centre
Charmed Homewares stock merchandise from photo frames to outdoor wrought iron seats for two, garden ornaments, flower arrangements, vases, figurines, cushions, prints, wall hangings coffee tables, household ornaments and much more, offering the customer an abundant choice varied in all hues to suit every decor.
Items displayed at the front door of the shop change constantly and this is mainly because of the daily turnover of stock. Luckily, Store Manager Beth is able to create visual scenarios by stock arrangements to give customers ideas for your home decorating, also allowing you to realise items can be combined to produce an effect that you wouldn't have thought possible if you had purchased the items individually.
A bold idea can produce a lasting effect on your home decor
Prices are very affordable allowing the customer to purchase the item desired at the moment their eyes are cast on it. A layby system is not available; with purchases easily being assessed through card transaction or cash. Charmed Homewares are happy to hold the item for you if you are coming back the same day to finalise the purchase.
The day I visited a one-of-a-kind chest of drawers manufactured in the style of large stacked volumes of Charles Dickens books positioned in the doorway. It would make the perfect coffee table in the study of patio. Each book volume opened into a drawer for perhaps reading glasses and reading light etc. Reasonably priced at $199.00, I'm sure it won't be there next time I pass.
Chest of drawers or coffee table, the choice is yours
Between Charmed Homewares and Dollars & Sense, there is 10 staff employed and most of these have elected to stay with their employer for many years. This is evident by the standard of service I have witnessed with the happy staff passing on their enthusiasm to their customers.
I just love this, and someone else does too as it's sold!
Whilst in the centre, don't forget to pop into Dollars & Sense especially around prominent festive times of the year like Australia Day, St Patrick's Day, Easter, Halloween, Christmas etc. as they go all out with an extensive variety of specialised items for those events. If last Halloween was anything to go by, I can't wait for Halloween this year to see what new items they have in stock.
Don't forget to pop into Dollars & Sense whilst there
