I am an amateur writer living in the Northern suburbs of Adelaide looking to see where my writing can take me.

One of the things I have been doing ever since I was a child is enjoying good fish and chips, are you the same? Well one of the life-lessons I have learnt is that when it comes to fish and chips - Charlie Hamed is better than good. Charlie migrated to Australia from Lebanon in 1983, established his fried food business in 1984 and has been serving more-than-satisfied-customers with a smile ever since.
For almost 30 years Charlie has made a good honest living preparing fish, prawns, scallops, chips, burgers, hotdogs and fritters of several varieties to customers; new, regular, loyal and devout. He loves what he does and he loves providing his customers with more than just a meal. Charlie's retro-orange counter and oak walled interior topped off with your food wrapped in that good old white paper; screams absolutely everything a fish and chip place should be.
At the top of the pops on Charlie's menu is his classic butterfish and chips. His chips possess that certain flair of addiction that one always speculates as to the source of (chip lovers, you know what I am talking about) and his butterfish are succulent and coated in a crispy batter that is just sublime.
If you're feeling a tad adventurous: Charlie's pineapple fritters are delectable, or if you're in the mood for something tasty and reliable you can't go past his potato fritters. Charlie's burgers and hotdogs are also guaranteed to leave your senses happy and well fulfilled.
Charlie's Place is located on prospect road between Alexandra and Albert Street, and is open every day from morning till evening. Like myself if you've lived in Prospect for quite some time (on either side of the proverbial tracks), you too know that there is only one Charlie and only one place to go for quality fish and chips. You can't go past almost three decades of customer satisfaction.
