The Innerwest Plantaholic Group is not just another Facebook community group, it is a group of plant enthusiasts who share plant obsessions and enjoy nothing better than getting together to talk about the growth and love of their plants. You do not need to live in the Inner West to join the group either, membership is welcome to everyone who is courteous to each other and have a love of plants. If the beauty and obvious care that has gone into the plants shown on their website is anything to go by, then plant lovers, like myself, would know this is a group that is serious about the care of flora and fauna.



On Saturday 1st May 2021, the Innerwest Plantaholic Group is hosting a . The event is being held from 9.00am to 2.00pm at Yeo Park , Ashfield with all proceeds from the day going to the Cat Protection Society of NSW.



You are welcome to donate your plants or purchase plants from the event. There is no administration fee and if your plants are not purchased at the end of the day, you are welcome to collect them or donate to the plant's library at Ferris Lane the Magic Lane. Purchase price for the plants will be between $5 and $10 or by donation, where you can pay whatever amount you wish. Please note this is a cash-only sale.

Ferris Lane is a community inspired "Urban Green Space" located in Annandale. It is self-funded and cared for by the generosity and passion of the local community.



Apart from the Plant Sale commencing at 9.00am, there will also be other activities to entertain you and your family throughout the day. These include:




Innerwest Plantaholic Group sells indoor, outdoor, edible plants, worm juice for your gardens and pot hangers. Something for every avid gardener. Talk to the volunteers on the day to gain valuable tips for your gardens at home. You must register to attend this event.

Unfortunately, due to limited space at home, plants cannot be dropped off prior to the event. You can either drop them off at Yeo Park on the day of the event or at Burwood, Lewisham, Enmore or Canterbury suburbs; addresses will be given to you once you nominate your choice. For people donating a plant, please write your name on the pot only if you wish to have them returned, if not sold.

Address for Yeo Park is 230 Victoria Street, Ashfield , which is right next door to Outfield Café . The park is dog friendly, so if you wish to bring the family pet, please do so, however, they always need to be on a lead and under your supervision.
