children's community clothing swap, town of cambridge, town of cambridge library, sustainable living, environmentally friendly, free event, swapping not shopping, reduce textile waste, charity drop off day, downsize, donate clothing, secondhand, upcycle, recycle, homewares, fashion, bedding, shoes, games, e waste drop off day, tvs, dvd players, cameras, printers, speakers, laptops, autumn community clothing swap, cambridge library, swap insteada of shop, reduce textile waste, nerida social space, community event, fun things to do, savings, bargains

First off the rank is the Children's Community Clothing Swap event at Cambridge Library, and you need to register for this event. Head to the Nerida Social Space (room on the left as you enter the Library) for this event. It's a great opportunity to trade clothing your children, babies and toddlers have grown out of, or for trading maternity items you no longer need. Let all your friends, family and neighbours know as the more people know, the more likely there'll be more clothing, sizes and styles to choose from and swap with. See the event page for what items you can bring and for conditions and methods required to bring to the event.

The next event is the Charity Drop-off Day at the Town of Cambridge. All you need to do is drive up, and friendly staff will unload, with nothing more to do. It's a good time to clean out that closet and donate to the local charities all in one place. It goes without saying for all donations and swapping events, items need to be clean, in good condition and undamaged. Again see the event page for items that the charities will accept and how they should be presented when dropping off your donation.

E-Waste Drop Off Day is the third event at the Town of Cambridge again. It's a good time to declutter your house and protect our environment. Head to the Town of Cambridge Administration car park to dispose of TVs, DVD players, cameras, printers, speakers, laptops, computers, monitors, household appliances, phones, etc. Anything with a cord of battery. It fact enjoy a year round free drop-off for anything with a cord or a battery, including digital media at your local recycling centre as well.

Last but not least, the Autumn Community Clothing Swap at the Cambridge Library is a sustainable way to shop by swapping and reducing textile waste while avoiding fast fashion. Swap out items you no longer wear and add something fresh to your wardrobe. Again invite family, friends and neighbours and alert them about the event. The more people know about it, the more variety, styles and sizes there will be for swapping. Head to the Nerida Social Space again at the Library and don't forget to register for this event. Read the event page for more details.

As aforementioned, the Town of Cambridge run many events. Check it out and look forward to other fun events like -
