BYO bib for some of Sydney's best ribs out of a truck
The food truck revolution is exploding all over Sydney with the latest truck pounding out some mighty awesome tasting ribs and burgers! The Char Char Food Truck is Sydney's first Rib Truck and the brain child of the owners of Char Char Bar & Grill in Wollongong. These guys wanted to bring their delicious ribs and burgers to the big smoke, so that Sydneysiders could get their own taste of the Bulu.
The Bulu is a special (and secret) basting that hails from South Africa and makes all of their food taste absolutely spectacular. The matriarch of the family Grandma Gen, is the holder of this secret recipe and she has allowed the truck to take it on the road so that we can all enjoy its signature flavour. You can choose between beef or pork ribs and the burgers are made from Aussie grass fed beef and packed full of salad. Besides the ribs and burgers the truck will also be offering up some short run dishes, such as flame grilled chicken wings and southern fried chicken burgers. And you can quench your thirst with one of their peanut butter and honey super shakes!
If you want to get your chops around some of this deliciousness, the Char Char Food Truck is currently firing up their engine and grilling from 6pm in locations such as Summer Hill on Thursdays (Star Car Wash, 4a Parramatta Rd); Baulkham Hills on Fridays (Norwest Marketown car park, 4 Century Circuit), and of course in the Gong, on Saturdays (WIN Stadium south car park, 49 Harbour St). In 2016 they will be visiting many other locations throughout Sydney, so follow them on social media so you don't miss out!
