Tea. Is there any occasion it is not appropriate for? A day with the girls, have a cup of tea. Had a fight with someone, have a cup of tea. Got a promotion, put that kettle on. It's such a versatile drink and has a personality all its own. Yes, I do love a good cup of tea.
When I am going out for tea though, I want to go somewhere special. This is somewhere special. Chapels on Whatley is a tea enthusiast's haven. White tea, black tea, green tea, exotic tea it is all right here in this eclectic little store.
The store itself is furnished in wood and the walls are decorated with Tibetan designs. It has a very appealing feel to it and patrons can choose to sit on the wooden chairs inside, on the cushions out the front or in the courtyard out the back.
As well as tea, Chapel's is also a delight for sweets and everything is made fresh in store. They have recently added a dinner menu and a wine list to their repertoire too. The menu is regularly changed and offers great variety in meals and tea flavourings. A pot of tea is served to you in bone china, the only way to drink good tea, and is bottomless. The also offer high tea.
