Chapel Lane Huts is the new pop-up party place on Chapel street (number 430-436) in South Yarra. Opening its picket fence to this summery, beachy themed playground on New Year's Eve, this is the new venue for that unique experience of dining in your own private beach-themed hut, indulging in a gin masterclass, or simply grooving along to live performances of local musicians and DJs.

Open from Thursday to Sunday from 1pm to 11pm every week, Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays are open for bookings (0492 958 459)[/I] for your own private party or event. They're all about creating a dining experience to remember, coupled with great customer service, and good quality food and beverages, looking pretty on a plate.

Each of the 9 dining huts can be booked for small groups of up to 10 people or can be combined with other huts to cater for larger events and group bookings, or you can book out the whole place as well. Just jump onto the website to reserve a hut. Will it be The Sunset Hut, Flamingo Hut, Ocean Hut, Umbrella Hut, Palm Hut, The Surf Hut, Cactus Hut, Coral Hut or The Shell Hut for you? Each one beautifully themed and decorated.

Here for a good time, not a long time, and touted to be open just till Easter this year, don't miss out! Take the party from the bottlenecking Windsor area to a little further afield down Chapel Street and discover a place where there's room to breathe, at a styled venue that makes you feel like you're partying at the races or fancy beach event, so sip on a cocktail or two and get a bite to eat.

Currently, there are grazing platters from Grazing With Stella who specialises in Greek-inspired grazing tables and takes catering to the next level with elevated platters and more. There'll be a rotation of musicians, DJs and catering so you never know what you're going to find but you can rest assured, it'll be top-notch!

Supporting local and small businesses all the way, you'll find gin from Bass and Flinders Distillery, beers from Jetty Road Brewery, both in Dromana, a seaside town on the Mornington Peninsula and wines and spirits from Moët & Chandon. Chapel Lane has three huts allocated as a Champagne Bar, a Beer Bar and a Cocktail Bar.

Throughout the pop-up, Chapel Lane will be offering a variety of unique experiences to their customers to enjoy throughout the week. These experiences will be available to book through the website, so stay tuned for more experiences to come.

Currently, Bass and Flinders are running Gin & Spiced Brandy Masterclasses. They are offering their one-of-a-kind Gin or Spiced Brandy Masterclass experiences in which you can create your very own bespoke gin or spiced brandy. They will be running as private classes (10-20 people) or you can book as an individual and learn with fellow spirits lovers.

You'll be guided through the process of blending up your own bespoke recipe from a vast range of vapour infused gin botanicals or spice and dried fruit-infused brandies. 'Your' gin or spiced brandy recipe created on the day will be safely stored with them and a 500mL bespoke bottle, developed by you, will be made up and shipped to you within 2 weeks for you and your friends to enjoy.

Finally, support local and head over to a summer paradise that has emerged to revitalise Chapel Street. An oasis of private huts within an outdoor courtyard, providing the perfect ambience and place to sit back with family and friends or meet new ones. This unpretentious tropical luxury wears the charming soul of Chapel Street and is totally instagramable and atmospherically vibing. You don't need a passport to travel to this unique pop-up summer playground, so let's play! Tell all your friends about it. It's the new place to be seen! Be sure to check out the Facebook page and website for some amazing images to give you a good feel for the place. Gather your friends and be the first in your group to introduce them to this amazing brand new venue!

A place is only as good as the people and staff who run it. See some of the smiling faces you'll meet at the venue. Owned and operated by Cherie and her partner Johannes aka JoJo (last image), they are passionate about giving you the best on offer. Seasoned at organising events and catering for private entities under their other business Carts and Containers, you can be assured you're in good hands. Other staff members are the ever smiling and charming Ollie, making a delicious concoction at the bar, the Venue Manager Mazz and the lady in black, the Hostess Birgit.

A wonderful place Jen. It shows some innovative thinking in these times when conventional restaurants may have to close again.
