Join with others for peaceful Kirtan Meditation in West End
When media brought us real-life genocides to our television screen, war was not a thing that we no longer knew little about. It was real and the atrocities that killed our young men and women brought home the knowledge that peace was something we had to strive even harder to obtain.
21st September is observed around the globe as World Peace Day. The day was established in 1981 by the United Nations General Assembly, which declared this date be devoted to strengthening the ideals of peace for all nations and all people. Millions gather around the World in prayer and at festivals with a combined consciousness that society will live in harmony.
