Rolling out in over 12 venues in Melbourne, Channels Festival 2019 showcases international and Australian video art which blurs fact with fiction to delve deeper into difference, connectivity, power and place. Featuring a diverse and inclusive program of group and solo exhibitions, new commissions, artist residencies, screenings, performances, talks and discussions, Channels Festival launches on 24th August at The Substation with an exhibition featuring Australian artist Reko Rennie, London-Istanbul based duo Noor Afshan Mirza and Brad Butler, and Almagul Menlibayeva (Germany and Kazakhstan).
