Much like the Room of Requirement, the Store of Requirement (20 Station Street, Samford Village) provides everything a Harry Potter fan could need including butterbeer, a sorting hat and a huge selection of merchandise.
But a visit to the Store of Requirement provides many things that money can't buy. The converted church is heavy on the Hogwarts aesthetic, with leadlight windows and lots of dark wood, but it's the little touches that prove that the owners are just as big Harry Potter nerds as their customers. Starting with Arthur Weasley's car parked outside, keen-eyed fans will be rewarded.
If you're a Hermoine - or you have a little Hermoine - take a trip to Manly for a Potter-worthy reading experience. The Reading Room at Mad Hatters Bookshop (corner Cambridge Parade and Stratton Terrace) is a themed reading and games room - and it's even got a secret entrance, similar to the Hogwarts entrance at Platform 9 and 3/4.
Big and little fans alike can enjoy the Harry Potter themed books, games and costumes in the Reading Room. For more information, check out this video.
If you identify more with Harry - or even Ron - then it's a game of Quidditch for you. That's right - Muggle Quidditch teams exist and Brisbane has one! QUT Quidditch is as close to the real thing as you can get - minus the flying broomsticks, of course. They offer a social and a competitive league, as well as events like trivia nights and a gala.
