Take a 'you' day
All women like to be pampered, some more so then others. As a self proclaimed 'high maintenance' type I was a regular at the spa & massage parlors before I started my journey as a student.

The twenty somethings are a stress bunched and contradictory to popular believe we do have tons of things to stress about. Its a time of change and building your future, one wrong move and life might go a different direction. But then again maybe everyone has something to stress about regardless of age.

Which is why spas are such great relaxers and rejuvenates. As soon as my exams ended this Friday I knew I wanted a real treat which in my directory meant a spa day and a special massage package.

I got to the spa before my friend and was offered delicious thai tea upon entering. I was then told to change into loose fittings clothing that looked something like a night suit. This surprised me as I expected to strip down to my undies and have a oil massage.

However they started the spa treatment by taking me outside and giving me an amazing foot massage that made me forget everything else that ever mattered. I'm not even joking it was beyond good so good that I asked to stop the massage half way so I could update my facebook status about how good it was. This included her placing my feet in a hot water tub with relaxing oils.

After this I was taken inside and the actual massage started. Initially the movement along my back was rather ticklish and I can't say I loved it as much. However it got really good in the middle and the way the massage ended surprised me. The ending included placing me and my friend in different yoga positions to really stretch out body parts which were tense and needed loosening up.

The masseuse used almost every part of her body during the massage. It wasn't a hands only massage at times her feet, elbows and thumbs were all simultaneously working which was quite impressive.

Overall it was a great experience. I have had a lot of thai massages and this one was a unique experience. I wish she had spent more gently massaging the entire body but they did make up for it in technique. I would highly recommend this place especially as a personal treat because it definitely made my day a little better.
