Ladies, what better way to start the weekend could there be than to get up at dawn and work up a hearty sweat with this amazing view in front of you?

What's that? The idea of waking up before noon on a weekend to exercise doesn't thrill you to your core? You think I'm crazy? Well, trust me when I say that setting that alarm and joining one of Chanelle Wong 's Kangaroo Point boot camps on a Saturday morning will get your weekend started with a bang, make you feel fantastic about yourself and motivate you to accomplish so much more.

My first session with Chanelle coincided with a hip-hop themed challenge week. Flat caps, hoop earings and bling adorned the particpants as we crunched and lunged to the 'phat' beats of Snoop Dogg and Usher in competition with the other girls. The session was as focussed on having fun as it was on working hard and was far more enjoyable than anything you can do at a regular gym.

Chanelle is a certified personal trainer and nutritionist who, along with her team of body beauty trainers, develops workouts for women who want to get results out of their training and feel good about themselves. As well as weekly Saturday bootcamps at Kangaroo Point, which you can join for $15 a session, the team does various morning and evening classes in Wooloowin, Mooloolaba and Kangaroo Point. There is also the option of doing a 12-week body beauty challenge. Over 3 months, challengers get unlimited fitness classes, nutrition and eating plans and motivation and support from their trainers.
