Every wine-lover knows that champagne is the drink that tastes like stars, and the is coming to Adelaide to make you feel like a star. The National Wine Centre on Hackney Road is proud to host the 2016 fest which will treat your taste buds and engage your senses.
Some of the French champagnes that will be featured include Moet, Veuve Clicquot, Perrier-Jouet, Pol Roger, Andre Clouet and Piper-Heidsieck. There will also be Australian varieties available, such as Hentley Farm, Deviation Road, House of Arras, The Lane Vineyard, and Jansz Tasmania. Glasses will begin at $6, and bottles at $30.
There will be more on offer than just delectable wines. The National Wine Centre will be providing a range of locally sourced, fresh food. Live music will also play a part in setting the vibe as you relax on the garden terrace, overlooking the blooming Botanical Gardens. The afternoon will certainly be a relaxing one.
The festival is set to take place on Sunday, the 23rd October from 11am-5pm. Tickets are $25 if purchased early, and $30 on the day.
