CMA Present On The Terrace
In their tenacious mission to unveil chamber music to the city of Adelaide, the Chamber Music Adelaide organisation has gathered multiple ensembles together to showcase the art form that is ensemble chamber music.
With their show, On The Terrace, CMA's main objective is accessibility. With multiple performences throughout the day all along the North Tce Cultural precinct, the CMA cast a wide net with a plethora of talent. From the Adelaide Baroque, The Firm, Recitals Australia, Soundstream New Music, Kegalstatt Ensemble, Ensemble Galante, Various People Inc and a number of guest artists, the CMA have assembled the best Adelaide has to offer to help spread their love and admiration for this truly remarkable music style.
Performing in the Art Gallery of SA, SA Museum, State Library of SA and the Migration Museum, CMA looks to be totally inclusive even providing Touch Tours to allow blind and vision impaired attendees an opportunity to feel the instruments and discern the different sounds and tones of each instrument. Putting this all together is Chamber Music Adelaide Chair, Cheryl Pickering, who is ecstatic to present a special feature this year in the form of The Opera Scenes Project which will be performing in the Migration Museum Chapel throughout the day.
Sunday the 27th is looking to be a lovely day for visiting the cultural venues Adelaide has along North Terrace. CMA are looking to heighten that experience with amazing music in every corner of this precinct. The performances will be going on throughout the day between 11am to 4pm on the 27th of October.
