Cha Chaz is a small quaint cafe with lots of homemade goodies. The menu offers great breakfast and lunch range and pretty good choice for the vegetarian.

The atmosphere was nice. We sat at the window looking out onto the street which was nice and cosy. Probably a little too cosy with the chairs a little close for comfort but the spot was good to eat.

Meal sizes decent but could offer little more but the flavours tasted and presented well. The cake range was a plus and a bonus for a sweet-tooth The staff were a little casual, but pleasant.

I had the zucchini kofta, which were tasty, but more like meatballs. A friend got something from the breakfast menu. A combo brekkie, it looked good and she assured me it tasted good but was a bit annoyed when her poached egg came runny when asked for hard. Why someone asks for hard poached egg beats me, but each to their own.

Overall I'd go back. It didn't wow but was a good cafe which someone could call their local for coffee and cake.
