Event:
Stomp the day away but remember to take off your shoes
The Cessnock Stomp Festival is a FREE event for all the family, offering a slightly quirky style of entertainment. In case you are wondering what a stomp festival is - at a stomp festival you kick off your shoes and stomp away! Yes, that's right STOMP on the grapes for a great deal of fun.

You can also enjoy a feast of beautiful food and wine from the Hunter Valley, an assorted range of arts and crafts markets, many different specials from local businesses, an indulgence experience and of course the grape stomping fun.

It will be held on Sunday 28th April 2019 from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm. The venue is Vincent Street, Cessnock.

The stomp festival is now in its fourth year and it will again deliver the very best this renowned region has to offer in a one-day festival right in the heart of Cessnock.

There is no other event that actually stops traffic like STOMP does and with more than about 15,000 people attending each year, Cessnock stomp festival is the place to be to sample the best wine, food, fun and stomp grapes.

The 2019 Cessnock stomp festival is presented by the Cessnock Chamber of Commerce with support from Draytons Family Wines and Cessnock City Council Advance Cessnock City.

The festival's vast program will show the diverse skills of the Cessnock community - from wineries, breweries, restaurants and artisans to artists, historians and musicians.

The main part of the festival is the great Cessnock stomp and this is held in the main street of Cessnock. This will be an unforgettable experience so make sure you make the effort to go to this event! It is Cessnock's biggest street party!
