CERES Environment Park has found a way to provide you with ongoing workshops in a virtual world, so you can continue to learn and grow. The Sustainable Gardening Course from Saturday 9 May to Sat 4 July 2020 from 1pm to 4pm is just such an example and you can get your TICKETS HERE. The link and meeting number will be supplied to participants.

There are 8 sessions to this course which will be run online via Zoom and hands-on learning sessions beyond theory will be scheduled when safe to do so. An ACFE Approved Pre-accredited Course (deemed eligible through an interview process with the career pathways officer), the cost is subsidised for eligible participants. See HERE for eligibility. In these 8 sessions, you'll learn about hands-on sustainable gardening and growing your own organic fruit, herbs and vegetables. If you've always wanted to be an organic gardener but didn't know where to start, this is the course for you. CERES Trainer Justin Calverley, a horticulturist and permaculturist with over 20 years experience and lead trainer for the Urban Farmer course will introduce you to the basics of horticulture, permaculture and organic gardening. You'll come out at the other end with the skills and knowledge to confidently propagate seedlings, save seeds, grow vegetables and more. SEE HERE for more information.
