The Ignite Walk is a fundraising event for the Cerebral Palsy Alliance Canberra, that will be held on the evening of Saturday, 7th April at Lake Burley Griffin. The aim of the night is to raise funds and to also wear fluoro neon colours, to light up and ignite Canberra in support of people living with disability. There are two routes to choose from:

The 5km Family Friendly Bridge to Bridge which starts at 7pm.

The 21km Half Marathon Dusk to Dark City Route which starts at 4:30pm. Both events start at Patrick White Lawns.

The aim is that the Half Marathon walkers will join up with the 5km Ignite Walkers and complete the last 5km together to really Ignite Canberra! There will be live entertainment, neon light installations and music along the way - as you glow in the dark and enjoy the party atmosphere.
