Catch an amazing live performance by Centre & The South at their eagerly awaited EP launch this Saturday (April 21). The local four lads are distinguished for their diverse incorporation of instruments, such as didgeridoo and their captivating live performances.
Centre & The South's debut EP launch of 'Something New, Something True', will be supported by the very special guests The Kashmere Club, a well known local band in Melbourne, which recently released an extremely successful EP, featuring their hit 'Roundabout Girl'.
This event will be held at The Noise Bar and SlowJaxx and his Flying Bong Brothers and The Mind Flowers are kicking off the night from 8.30pm, with a lazy $5 entry, for a complete night of entertainment. If you love the headlining and reggae roots dreadlock force of Centre & The South, which you undoubtedly will, you can take home one of their EPs, which will be on sale for $15 on the night.
The air is set to be filled with the band's message of 'peace and love' but with a lot more punch than one might expect from the phrase, as the boys play what will be predominantly a high energy reggae style set.
The band formed in early 2010 and have been quickly rising in popularity amongst Melbourne's local music scene ever since. Their amazing stage presence is only intensified when you witness the dreadlock front men, who are supported by an afro rhythm section.
If your in Melbourne this Saturday night, this is one show you do not want to miss.
