Central Coast Sporting Fields and Ovals

As there are many sporting fields spread across the Central Coast, it can be hard to know which fields are top notch - and which are best to be avoided. So, here is my guide to the best, and worst, sporting fields on the Coast.
The BEST:
Pluim Park - is a modern and large complex sporting (pardon the pun) three ovals. Currently, it is the home ground of the rep soccer side.
Wadalba Sports Complex - has a sand based ground, so it drains well. It also has nice amenities.
Terrigal Rugby Field - at the Haven has an excellent location with an adjoining cafe. Just watch out for boggy patches following rain.
The WORST:
Frost Reserve - has an old shack for a club building, little shade and no drainage. A complete bog following rain.
Patrick Croke - has poor drainage and is located, literally, in a hole. Thus, it is freezing on Winter nights.
Erina High School - oval is also used by Avoca FC. The dual use of the oval for the school and the club wreaks the pitch by the season's end.
Hopefully, this was helpful. In any event, have fun playing sport at a bog free, quality oval.
