Come along to the Central Coast Regional Show on the third and fourth of May – the Central Coast’s own version of the Easter show! The Central Coast Regional Show is in its 147th year. It has been running since 1878. It recently changed its name from the Gosford Regional Show to the Central Coast Regional Show, and celebrates all the great aspects of life on the Central Coast with great headline attractions that you can only catch here.

Not only that, there will be lots of entertainment, rides that will be coming from the Easter Show in Sydney, showbags, pony rides and an animal nursery, as well as face painting, community displays and much more – keep an eye on the Facebook page linked here for further details closer to the event.

If you’re after competitions, then you’re in luck. These will be conducted by local not-for-profit organisations and will be set up in the main rooms and pavilions of the showground. What will these competitions cover? So many things! There’ll be knitting, crocheting, baking, cake decorating, rabbits, cavies, lapidary, flyball, and so much more. Each competition welcomes entries in everything, and there are awards and ribbons as awards that are highly prized. Not only that but there will be displays from clubs across the Central Coast, including displays from the machinery shed, the men’s shed, Central Coast Model Makers, beekeeping, Scouts, go-karts, the Rural Fire Service, the Country Women’s Association, a farmyard petting zoo, snakes, reptiles, fireworks and much more!

From there, you can check out the stage and entertainment, including music, dance, novelty acts, school bands, and drama, highland muscle, stunt bike riding, sheep herding, puppy photos, and community-based performers are welcome. And the show is a great opportunity for businesses to showcase their services and products. There will be food from local food vendors, who will be there throughout the show.
