Tumbi Umbi is a suburb on the NSW Central Coast, approximately a one hour drive from Sydney. Located northwest of the popular Bateau Bay area, there is now one more thing to add to your "must do" list on your next day trip or weekend away up north. The Central Coast Harvest Markets, held on the grounds of the Mingara Recreation Club in Tumbi Umbi, is the newest outdoor market to hit the coast and will be held weekly. Here you will find fresh produce from local farmers, growers, bakers, producers and local artisans, from 8am - 1pm every Sunday.

In addition to the weekly harvest markets, the first and third Sunday of every month sees the incorporation of a "Makers Market", where the makers of all things hand and homemade are invited to join in on the day to bring you all sorts of wonderful products. So not only can you stock up on some farm fresh veggies, you can also find unique items for yourself, friends, family or gifts.
Some of the stall holders you will find here include "Cocopure", "Kind Cakes", "Shonai Jewellery" with stalls selling everything from honey, furniture, plants, knitted goods, sourdough, seafood and more. Being a new market, the list of stallholders is increasing weekly as the markets gain in popularity. Visit the Facebook page for updates on stallholders and special events. If you are interested in hosting a stall please email firstname.lastname@example.org
(UPDATE: Please note this market is cancelled and no longer trading - please refer to the official Facebook for further updates)
