Free Fun Day
'A Celebration of Islamic Culture Through the Arts' is a free family fun day, proudly hosted by Logan Art Gallery.
The event will take place on Saturday 29 March from 12noon - 4pm.
There will be something for everyone.
Enjoy family activities, contemporary and traditional art and crafts, demonstrations and henna painting and displays.
Mehndi or Henna Painting is a highly decorative, traditional temporary tattoo.
Leading up to the Family Day there are is an exhibition and a series of workshops to choose from.

Exhibitions No Added Sugar: Australian Muslim Women's Arts Project. The artists engage with complex, often confronting ideas through a diversity of media and concepts that reflect the rich complexity of the Australian Muslim experience.
Mana Nowbar: Longing This installation by Iranian born artist, Mana Nowbar is a series of charcoal and ink works on paper and canvas covering the outside walls of a wooden structure in the shape of a house.
Journey through myself: art by local Muslim women
The exhibition will be opened by Alissar Chidiac, on Friday 21 February 6pm for 6.30pm.
At 5.30pm prior to the opening you can join a guided walk through the exhibition.
