Ring in the Year of the Tiger and discover more about the history and traditions of the significant holiday of Chinese New Year on Saturday, February 12, 2022 - 10:30 am – 2:30 pm. The venue is Burnside Library, where you can enjoy craft activities, including Chinese Knotting, and from 11 am watch performances live-streamed from the Burnside Ballroom in the Library events space.



Each visitor to the Library during the event will receive a lucky envelope and one of the envelopes contains a special prize! If you can't come to the Library, you can still join the celebrations by watching the live stream from 11 am on the City of Burnside YouTube page.

The organisers advise that this event is subject to SA Health COVID restrictions. If the event is cancelled attendees will be notified. This event is hosted in partnership with the City of Burnside and the Overseas Chinese Association of South Australia (OCA). OCA is one of the largest incorporated leading Chinese community organisations in South Australia.
