On Saturday the 8th of October 2022, you are invited to a celebration of art, history, music and environment at The Cedars from 10am to 4:30pm. This special day would have been Hans Heysen's 145th birthday if he was still living. Regardless, Hans continues to be one of the most treasured artists in South Australia.



Festivities on the day include live music, local food and beverages from Adelaide Hills, family-friendly games and kids activities, creative wares by local artisans and makers, engaging talks, and 'en plein air' drawing workshops. You will also have the opportunity to explore the studios of both Hans and his daughter Nora as well as the Artist's Garden and surrounds.



The Cedars is located at 68 Heysen Road in Hahndorf. Tickets are $25 per adult, $10 per child and $22 for concession. Bookings can be made via their website . For those interested in becoming a member of the Cedars Membership Program, you'll enjoy a special gift in the form of either a creative workshop, a champagne curator's tour or a guided nature walk during the celebration. Your entry fee will also be waived.
