Celebrate Pi Day, 3.14 (March 14)

Pi Day celebrates the mathematical constant & #960 ; (3.14), annually, on March 14th. Here are some fun ways to celebrate Pi Day in Melbourne. If there's a way to combine "fun" with "maths" then it must include pi(e) in my (text)book.
Pure Pie ; Chipotle Chilli Bean, Fresh Spinach & Feta? Yum; yes please.
Fatto a Mano ; gluten free and vegan options.
Ferguson Plarre Bakehouses ; can't beat the specials price at $2 each. Bonus this time of year: terrific traditional hot cross buns.

Rolf's Pies in Box Hill has a lengthy "sweet tooth" menu and some attractive looking fundraising information... I'd buy from you.
Peruse more pies on these Weekend Notes articles: Best Meat Pies in Melbourne. ; Melbourne's Best Pies ; and for a day trip (sounds like it's worth it): Farmhouse Country Cooking Pies & Pastries.

If pastry pies are more of a constant in your world than mathematical constants, celebrate Pi Day in your own flaky way. Have a favourite pie that's the apple of your eye? Share in the comments.
