Celebrate the 2012 London Olympics with McDonalds
If your appetite is getting a little adventurous, but your wallet is getting light, you may find it a surprise that I'd recommend that you head on over to your local McDonalds, for a special night out of semi-foreign delights for your taste buds and your stomach.
For a limited time only, McDonalds has a "Flavours Of The Games" menu, in celebration of the London 2012 Olympic Games and are set to be releasing a new flavour every three weeks, till they have unveiled all six of the items on this delicious and delectable menu.
The Sydney Stacker is a big delicious, true blue Aussie burger, made with quality Aussie beef, crispy bacon, sun-kissed pineapple, beetroot and a generous dollop of BBQ sauce, which is available after 10:30am and is just amazing.
The Barcelona Omelette, is the perfect way to start the day with it's exotic taste of Spain, made with a spicy chorizo Omelette, crispy bacon, cheese and tangy tomato relish, all neatly packed into a fresh muffin and is available before 10:30am.
The Atlanta Pork McRib, is absolutely delicious with its smokey BBQ sauce, pickles and onion all in a home style bun - it reminded me of the Simpsons episode when Homer is addicted to the Ribwich - and I guarantee this is the real world equivalent and is available after 10:30am.
The London Fish And Chips includes three delicious, battered fish pieces, which are served with a generous helping of tartare sauce and McDonald's crispy, golden fries and is available after 10:30am.
The Beijing Chicken is an oriental delight, with its crispy chicken patty, cucumber slices, lettuce, sweet chilli sauce and mayonnaise all on a fresh sesame seed bun and is available after 10:30am.
And if you have a sweet tooth, I recommend you try the Paris Choc Delight made with three choc dessert bites, a swirl of soft serve ice cream with pink and white marshmallows, atop with hot chocolate fudge.
One bite into any of these delicious morsels and you will hardly believe you bought them from McDonalds, but try not to get too attached, as these are for a limited time only!
