World Sake Day is coming soon! The story goes back to October 1, 1978 when the Japan Sake and Shochu Makers Association proclaimed it as Sake Day. It's a tribute to the Japanese origin alcoholic beverage made of fermented rice. The day marks the first day of the Sake-making season in Japan. The event recognises sake and its contributions to Japanese culture and also commemorates its history and numerous skilled brewers.

It's time to raise our sake glasses and kanpai together to usher one of the most important events for sake aficionados! Let this be your guide for the upcoming World Sake Day.
