No one parties like Hofbräuhaus Melbourne ! Still standing as Das Original und das Beste, deck the bierhalls and celebrate Christmas the Bavarian way. It's more fun with friends, so why not organise your work Christmas function or simply a special time for you and your Freunde!

In the heart of Chinatown and the oldest Hofbräuhaus outside Europe at 18 Market Lane, Melbourne - (03) 9663 3361, during this festive season you can start enjoying live music from Thursday to Sunday, live entertainment, imported Bavarian Bier, authentic Bavarian Food and a great Bavarian Christmas for the regulars, the uninitiated and the homesick. Aside from the live music from Thursday to Sundays, jump in and enjoy their Bavarian Christmas Parties with free Gingerbread heart decorating for the kids every Sunday until Christmas. Start polishing up on your German as during the Christmas period, you can join in for Praise the Christmas Tree.

It's a Bavarian tradition to go from house to house praising their neighbour's tree in return for free Schnaps. Upholding this tradition in Melbourne every Monday to Thursday at the Alpine Bar, customers have to say "Ihr habt's aber einen schönen Christbaum" in more or less good German to receive a Schnaps on the haus! Only one Schnaps per person per night.

Salivate over the set menu in PDF format for Christmas Day 's traditional Bavarian Lunch! Again the kids get to decorate a gingerbread heart for free and you could win that $100 voucher on the day if you receive that elusive Golden Cookie in the cookie pack you get when you order your mains.
