Celebrate the Aussie Way
Wow! Another Public Holiday! Australia Day, January 26th, a month and one day after Christmas Day is a celebration of the arrival of the First Fleet of the British Ships into Sydney, indeed Botany Bay way back in 1788. More about the History of the day here.
Aussies love a celebration, though I acknowledge that our First Peoples do not celebrate this day with the same enthusiasm. More information about Australia Day here.
