Yes, it's been a long time since those multi-platinum albums Edge (1988) and Rise (1990) had you bopping to the beat. Get your Australia Day revelries heading in the right direction and join Daryl in thumping out all the classics from back then. Who knows, with a few 'Sherbets' under the belt, just imagine what a stirring rendition of his ultimate pub classic, 'Horses' you'll be able to sing-along to, as well as, 'One Summer', 'As The Days Go By' and those timeless gems from his days fronting Sherbet, such as 'Summer Love', 'Howzat' and 'Cassandra', to name a couple.
But don't fret if you can't remember the words to all the classics, the night is going to be a mix of those immortal hits as well as some brand new material. So in amongst revisiting past glories and greatest hits – of which, of course, there are plenty – you are also going to get the chance to be among the first to sample Daryl's new album, Forever the Tourist with its scintillating new single, 'Not Too Late' which looks set to join Daryl's extensive array of classics.
Guests must be 18 years or over to visit LiveWire.
