Celebrate Australia Day 2014 in Altona

The Altona Traders Association is holding a celebration with a range for activities planned Australia Day on Sunday 26th January 2014.

The festivities will be held in Logan Reserve in Pier Street, Altona from 11am until 9pm with fireworks on the beach to conclude the celebration.

Australia Day activities planned for the day include a junior triathlon to start off the day.

There will be camel rides along the beach, Cobb & Co coach rides. Come along for the annual sandcastle competition, the kids can participate in sand art, or have their face painted.

Browse the stalls at the market, pick up a sausage at the sausage sizzle or a bite to eat at the other food stalls or have a Devonshire tea all whilst listening to the live music and roving entertainment throughout the day.

From 7 pm at the Logan Street Reserve, come along and listen to Australian Rock Chick with Marie Wilson .

End the evening with the 9 pm fireworks. What a great way to spend Australia Day 2014.
