The Cedar Creek Swimming Holes, located in the Moreton Bay region, are a popular attraction for visitors of all ages. Cedar Creek itself offers multiple public access points, however, this particular section (at the very end of Cedar Creek Road, Cedar Creek) is the most popular.

The current water levels allow recreational opportunities for visitors of varied interests and abilities. Shallow sections with a gently flowing current are suitable for younger children, whilst deeper sections are ideal for splashing, wading and swimming.

Boulders and fallen logs shape the flow of the creek, resulting in cascades and even small waterfalls. Caution is advised, particularly after periods of heavy rainfall.

The combination of boulders and the surrounding bushland provides the ultimate setting for nature play and creek explorations. In particular, my own children love to "rock hop" across the creek, climb over larger boulders and race leaves along the current.

More adventurous visitors can follow the narrow trail alongside the creek to the picturesque Love Falls (approximately 5kms return).
Unfortunately, there is very limited parking and no amenities. Early arrival is strongly recommended, or parking further down the road and walking back up.
An alternative option is to visit the nearby Andy Williams Park (705 Cedar Creek Road, Cedar Creek). This venue boasts a large open grassy area leading down to a section of the creek. Facilities include picnic tables, barbecues, toilet facilities and a small bitumen car park.

Please be mindful of the private properties overlooking the creek and ensure that you leave nothing behind (except for footprints).
