In Mt Tambourine, on the beautiful Gold Coast Hinterland there local waterfalls that are a must see for nature lovers and adrenaline chasers. Around a half an hour to forty five minute drive from Brisbane you'll stumble across the mountain and all it's hidden pleasures. Parking is very minimal near the waterfalls so if you're not an early bird try find a park before heading down the road to the entrance. The walk to cedar creek falls is gorgeous in itself, with lookouts over the whole area. Cedar creek falls is not just a waterfall but three waterfalls consecutively after the other. There are places to jump off, plenty of space to swim in clean freshwater or plenty of rocks to sunbathe and take in the scenery.
