Here's an escape that can include all family members - human, canine and equine!

In the Sunshine Coast Hinterland at Amamoor you'll find the , settled into the hillside of this 40 acre property. What does CBR stand for? Canny Breeders and Racers - of course! It's all about horses here and yours is welcome to holiday with you. Guest's horses can be accommodated in the property's stables and use the "horsey" facilities onsite. Canine visitors are catered for too, with a large timber kennel at the back door of the cottage. Visitors will need to keep a close eye on their four-pawed family members, as whilst the paddocks are fenced, the property isn't.

That's the animals taken care of - now for the humans. The cottage is located on the side of a hill, with beautiful views to green rolling hills. In the distance you can see avocado orchards and paddocks of grazing cows and horses. If you need any further convincing that you're in the country, a very vocal rooster is a constant reminder!

On arriving at the you will most likely be given a very warm and excited welcome by the Wilson family's dog, Riley. Don't worry though, Riley knows his place and won't put a paw inside your accommodation. He does, however, make an excellent companion when you wander around the property.

Whilst not five star or luxurious, inside the cottage is clean and very comfortable and you'll find everything you need for a wonderfully relaxing stay. Two bedrooms, a bathroom, laundry, a well equipped kitchen and lounge/dining area should see you comfortably accommodated. The best part of the cottage is, however, outside. A small deck, complete with timber breakfast bar and bar stools is the perfect spot to enjoy your meals and linger over your favourite tipple and a cheese platter. As the sun goes down, this is the place to be!

If you're not the type to just relax and enjoy your surroundings, you might like to check out the local walks and swimming holes. Amamoor State Forest is a stone's throw away for those looking to get back to nature. Just a short drive will get you to a number of places such as Cooran, Gympie (home to the Gympie Muster), Pomona (well known for the annual King of the Mountain race and a very pretty little town) and Boreen Point. If you have a kayak and fishing rods, bring them along because either Lake MacDonald or the Mary River is waiting for you. The Noosa Trail Network, Eumundi Markets, and Noosa itself are amongst other options.

Greenthumbs will be pleased to know that the beautiful Noosa Botanic Gardens are also just a short trip away. Situated on the banks of picturesque Lake MacDonald, they are a peaceful haven with plenty of spots to enjoy a picnic and the view across the lake.

There's also something for the foodies - in the quaint little town of Cooran (an easy 20 minute drive ) you'll find "Easy Cheesy" where you can book in to do a cheese making course with master cheese maker, Dawn Couchman.

There really is something for everyone here. The fishing fanatics, watersports enthusiasts, greenthumbs, hikers, horse riders, nature lovers, foodies, kids, dogs and horses. At they've got you covered!
