Caversham Wildlife Park

I was pleasantly surprised by the park, it was well set out and offered my Scottish friends the experiences they were looking for.

They had only heard of wombats and the outback show allowed them the opportunity to touch one.

The koalas were sleeping- of course! The keeper spent a lot of time telling us about them and taking some great photos for us.

My visitors- all 21- had so much fun in the kangaroo walk through.

The kangaroos and wallabies were friendly- sometimes to friendly! They appeared to want to take our cameras and phones!

For the first time ever- being WA born and bred- I saw a joey plop out of mum's pouch it was a surprise.

I would highly recommend the Caversham Wildlife Park to overseas visitors, they will see some of the animals that make Australia a very unique place indeed.
