Yoga with a difference - in a fascinating, cool cave
This will be something different! Caves are so fascinating as well as being interesting wonders of nature. Now, you can do a yoga class in a cave!

Spend your Sunday afternoon on 4th November, 2018 as Dia Yoga presents The Sound of Yoga It will be held at Yanchep National Park, corner of Indian Ocean Drive and Yanchep Beach Road, from 1.00 pm to 3.00 pm.

This will be Yin yoga, pranayama and medition with Dia Yoga. The caves will ring out with the legendary sounds of Samadhi and the sounds of chanting! The sound of this music will incorporate "the angelic, bohemian" vocalist Tali, as well as Dan Grochowski. Both these people will make sure that your journey into The Sound of Yoga is an experience that will not be forgotten.

Sound of Yoga is an exciting new concept in the art and exercise of yoga, which many of us already know has soothing and lasting benefits. Here they will merge live music with fascinating, sacred and historical venues to bring you the most memorable class you have ever attended!

But wait, these classes fill up fast, so you must book quickly or you will miss out

Cabaret Cave is a cave that was first used in the 1930's to host a secret dinner and dance for Perth's rich and famous. Cabaret Cave is Perth's only cave that is for hire. It is an amazing cave, that has fabulous acoustics and is the ideal place for this yoga event.

The three forms of yoga mentioned above, along with meditation and music, will be a magical experience! Yin yoga is slower and deeper breathing and this "triggers the parasympathetic nervous system setting the tone for a relaxing experience". This will be both for your body as well as your mind and can give you the feeling of a "transcendental experience of oneness with the universal levels of consciousness." With each pose and breath, your awareness will become more acute. You will end up in an extremely relaxed state where outside thoughts will no longer enter. The poses will be held for a long time and this, in turn, will help you realign your body and is deeply beneficial and peaceful.

The Cave Yoga event, including the Yin yoga and the performances will cost $65 and there is also a $12 entry fee into Yanchep National Park per car if you do not have a yearly pass.

But you must book now - and you can read more about this yoga class and make your bookings at this link.

You will need to bring along a yoga mat, a blanket (as the temperature can get quite cold in the cave), socks, and a jumper or similar.
