Causeway Lake is sandwiched between Mulambin Beach and Kinka Beach on the Capricorn Coast. The lake is man-made, formed by the bridge that crosses Mulambin Creek.





There is a small playground near Causeway Lake. It has 2 sets of swings and a fort with a slippery slide, a climbing frame and a wobbly bride. It also has an activity board. It has a sail shade and a sandy beach for a soft fall. I saw some children bringing their sandpit toys and just playing on the sand around the playground.





It's very close to amenity blocks, has plenty of picnic tables around and also has some free gas BBQs. There are plenty of parking spots but on the weekends and holidays, this place is always jam-packed with people using Causeway Lake as a water recreational area.





There is a small cafe nearby to pop in before heading home for an ice cream or other treat.
