Enjoy two upbeat musical extravaganzas
One of Perth's premier vocalists, Cathrine Summers, is presenting two spectacular shows at Fringe Festival 2020; A 'Swingin' Gatsby Jazz Club' and 'Elton, Bowie, Beatles'.

Enjoy two upbeat musical extravaganzas with a live 5 piece band, set within the historic beauty of The Old Swan Brewery and Lamont's Bishops House. Tickets are now on sale for both shows!

Get set for a memorable journey with charming songstress Cathrine Summers at the helm, who's known for both her powerful and richly honeyed voice and an engaging 'instantly familiar' onstage persona that will draw you in and leave you wanting more.

'Swingin' Gatsby Jazz Club' - The Return of The Roaring 20's The Old Swan Brewery

6-8 & 13-15 Feb

Cathrine Summers presents an exciting two-part show with her jazz quintet at the beautiful Old Swan Brewery.

Everything that is Fringe features in an upbeat, swinging 20s style jazz performance with a "like a version" twist. Cathrine promises to provide a full evening in prohibition style jammed with seaquined show girls, delicious burlesque, a stunning acrobat and more, all weaved around cheeky anecdotes and historical narrative to make for an evening both engaging and entertaining.

Cathrine is partnering with The Old Brewery to create a Heritage Jazz Club evening within one of Perth's most iconic venues. Guests can also enjoy pre-show dinner, and the riverfront views of the Swan River.

The evening will feature traditional jazz swing classics, an abundance of French and cabaret – songs from the likes of Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Benny Goodman, Nat King Cole, Louis Prima, Frank Sinatra and many more. Plus a host of modern songs presented in a traditional jazz style such as, Beyoncé's 'Crazy In Love', Amy Winehouse's 'Back To Black' and Pharell Williams' 'Get Lucky'.

"With incredible vocal range, tender sense of comedy and comforting warm stage presence, it is as if the audience has known her for years. Cole Porter, once said, 'I wanted every kind of love that was available, but I could never find them in the same person.' Yet in the beautiful and talented Cotton Club singer, all these forms of love seem to coalesce." Perri Watson
