It is strange, but it is something I think all of do on some occasions. What I am referring to is taking for granted, scenery, things, venues with which we are very familiar. I work on a part-time basis with international post-graduate professionals. And, I do so in a building which is adjacent to Cathedral Square.
There are many small parks right in the heart of Brisbane City, and Cathedral Square is one of those. It is situated in Ann Street in Brisbane directly across the road from the magnificent St. Johns Cathedral, the main Anglican Church in Brisbane.
Cathedral Square is a popular venue for many people participating in many and varied activities. Strolling through the square you will likely find groups of people with an instructor involved in a fitness program. Sometimes there are individuals or couples quietly doing their Tai Chi. Around lunch time will be people who have escaped from their offices and enjoying their lunch sitting on a bench seat or on the grass under the shade of a tree.
Less than five minutes walk away there are restaurants and other food outlets in addition to a Woolworths.
