Come along and see all the different amazing cats here
This is going to be the world's greatest cat show! Staged in Melbourne, it runs from 30th November and 1st December 2019 at the Royal Exhibition Building, Carlton, 9 Nicholson Street, Carlton.

The cat's well and truly out of the bag! Come celebrate everything that so many of us love about cats at the largest festival in Australia. It is dedicated to educating and entertaining feline-lovers in a truly memorable way.

The second annual show will take up the whole of the entire Royal Exhibition Building and be around 70% larger. There will be an outdoor food truck area and more than triple the number of cats, more than double the number of breeds, and many new attractions.

Visitors will enjoy a great new area with a lot more space to spread out, interact and look at everything that's cool about cats. It promises to be the perfect fur-fix for every cat fan and be such awesome fun for everyone!

Adult, child, pensioner and family tickets are available and you can receive a 20% discount for tickets purchased online. The 2018 show sold-out, so it is encouraged that you buy tickets now to avoid missing out, as tickets on the door and online cannot be guaranteed.

The cost will be $25 and have a $2.02 booking fee. You can also find out more about the prices at this link.

Purrfect news, feline fans - all things that a dog can do, many cats can also do as well! While that is almost an accurate statement as anyone who has ever shared their life with both a dog and a cat will know. You will be able to expect Carlton to come alive with the sounds of meows, meeps, peeps.

Really, what's more informative and exciting than entering the Pat-A-Cat zone and getting cosy with cats of all shapes and sizes?

If that doesn't appeal to you, then you will be also able to take a purrfect match quiz to find out which type of cat suits you best, meet different types, and listen to talks by experts. You will also be able to look through more than 120 stalls.

You can get a drink at the Purrfect Paws & Prosecco Parlour, and get your cat tucked into a cat-inspired food menu.

There will also be education talks as follows:

Dr Chris Brown
Acclaimed Australian vet, TV presenter Dr Chris, has appeared on numerous TV programs in Australia. He has internationally appeared in shows including Harry's Practice, Bondi Vet, The Living Room and Vet Gone Wild for Animal Planet (US). It is the first time Dr Chris has presented at the Cat Lovers Show, so this is one speaker you would hope to see him this time!

Dr Katrina Warren
Popular TV vet, Dr Katrina is the official MC again and is, of course, passionate about cats. Katrina has even hosted three series of Housecat Housecall for Animal Planet (US).

Kelly Gill
Kelly is one of the most highly sought after animal trainers for TV and film. Kelly has trained animals for many television series, advertising and film roles including Petbarn, McDonald's and more including a range of talented cats!

Dr Danni Dusek
Danni is a graduate of Melbourne University's Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (Distinction). She works at Kingston Veterinary Hospital in Mentone, Victoria.

Danni is very passionate about volunteering for Pets in the Park. Here she will home and take care of the homeless problems for their pets and she is Australia's newest Bondi Vet which is about to hit TV screens across the country.
